Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people

Job Duties:

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit staff
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available

Salary: CAD $37.10/hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week

Apprentice Motor Vehicle Mechanic (NOC 72410)

We have an opening for an Apprentice Motor Vehicle Mechanic (NOC 72410) with A-1 Muffler & Tires (2590521 ONTARIO Inc) located at 28 Melanie Dr, Unit #6, Brampton, ON L6T 4H7. This is an on-site role in a fast-paced automotive service environment. The position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motor vehicles and related systems while working under the supervision of Licensed Automotive Service Technicians and following established safety and quality standards.

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of automotive repair or maintenance experience, or equivalent hands-on training in a mechanical environment.

Work Setting: Automotive repair shop (on-site only; no remote work)

Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy

Job Duties:

• Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace components

• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions

• Inspect motor in operation to diagnose issues

• Diagnose faults using computerized and other testing equipment

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems

• Repair and service truck-trailer systems when required

• Perform scheduled maintenance services on vehicles

• Advise customers on work performed and recommend future repairs

• Communicate findings and repair requirements clearly to supervisors and customers
