Job Brief:

Sabzi Mandi is looking for a dynamic grocery clerk to join its team as soon as possible, responsible for assisting customers with their shopping needs and maintaining product knowledge.

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Greet customers and answer their questions regarding the products
  • Memorize the locations of products within the supermarket to answer inquiries
  • Ensure all products are sufficiently stocked and displayed according to expiration dates
  • Organize product displays
  • Assist customers and escort them to the proper aisles
  • Process payments when needed
  • Bags groceries and helps customers carry them to their vehicle when needed
  • Check fresh produce for quality
  • Maintain cleanliness in the store

 

Other Job Requirements:

 

  • Language: Basic English is a requirement
  • Education: Completion of High School is required
  • Experience: Prior working experience would be an asset

 

Core skills:

 

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized and pays strong attention to detail
