Job Description:
As a Produce Clerk at AG Foods Barriere, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks to keep our produce department running smoothly. Some of your daily responsibilities will include:
- Bagging, boxing, or parceling purchases for customers and assisting with shipment and delivery.
- Helping customers with their purchases, carrying items to their vehicles, and ensuring proper packing.
- Unpacking and verifying products received by the store, counting, weighing, and sorting items.
- Using barcode scanning equipment for inventory management and pricing verification.
- Price labeling items as per the price list and applying protective devices to prevent shoplifting.
- Stocking shelves, maintaining clean and organized displays, and ensuring stock is in order.
- Assisting customers by locating items, answering inquiries, and processing orders.
- Operating various equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks, for stock handling.
- General cleaning duties like sweeping aisles and dusting display racks.
- Handling cash registers and electronic commerce transactions.
- Assisting with stock orders as needed.
Job Requirements:
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Some secondary school education is typically required.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina for lifting and carrying.

Wage Details:
– Hourly Wage: $17
