North Shore Quality Meats seeks Butchers to conduct all the position's duties. We are looking for individuals who are efficient and comfortable being a member of the team.

Job title: Butchers – retail and wholesale-63201

North Shore Quality Meats is a well-established business with several years of experience. Currently, we are looking for two butchers to add to our team.

Location: 128 East 14 Street, North Vancouver, BC V7L 2N3

Status: Permanent, full-time

Wage: CAD26.50

Main duties:
• Process a variety of meats, including beef, pork, and chicken,
• Maintain equipment, keep knives sharp and being able to disassemble a grinder to make small repairs,
• Maintain records of inventory and customer orders,
• Sanitize and clean equipment after each use, follow safety guidelines and regulations, prevent cross-contamination or the spread of foodborne illnesses,
• Cut, grind and prepare meat for sale,
• Weigh package, price and display product,
• Perform quality inspection on meats and other products,
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications & skills:

• Completion of secondary school is an asset,
• Less than 1 year of work experience is required.
