Job Duties: We are hiring candidates with the following skills:

  • Cut, clean and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing
  • Scrape away scales, cut fish, separate fillets and remove scrap parts using knife
  • Check fish fillets to determine optimal number and size of fillet sections, cut sections according to specifications and place in container for weighing
  • Transport fish and shellfish to work area
  • Condition fish filets for wrapping or freezing

Primary Duties & Responsibilities-

  • Efficiently clean, sweep, & mop assigned rooms of the hotel while following set health and safety procedures and regulations.
  • Restock guest room amenities such as sheets & towels and and advise the supervisor or manager of any stock shortages.
  • Attend & respond to guest and staff inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Ensure all lost property items left in guest rooms are handled according to procedures.
  • Report any issues requiring maintenance of rooms, equipment, etc. to the supervisor or manager.
  • Ensure linens/towels are always in stock by laundering in hotel laundry as needed.
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
  •  Take responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is always operated correctly and properly secured when not in use.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products and their correct handling procedures.
  • Always stay productive and prepare for future needs as time allows.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees and guests to foster and promote a working environment that maximizes morale, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Other duties as required.
