Marketing Specialist

Overview

Our company is a start-up health care services company based in Vancouver, BC. We currently seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs,
  • Gather, research and prepare communications material,
  • Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations, Website content and press releases,
  • Answer written and oral inquiries,
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material,
  • Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) is required

 

Experience

Experience an asset

 

Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in marketing, communications, design or business management field, or equivalent experience

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent, 30.00 to 40.00 hours / week

Salary: $30/hour

Tasks: Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures, Delegate work to office support staff, Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met, Carry out administrative activities of establishment, Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation, Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services, Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls, Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence, Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
