As an Office Manager, you will perform all or some of the following duties:

·       Implement new administrative procedures

·       Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with immigration regulations and internal policies

·       Delegate work to office support staff

·       Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met

·       Carry out administrative activities of establishment

·       Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, correspondence, and immigration-related documentation

·       Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures including workflows related to immigration applications

·       Perform data entry for general office records as well as immigration case files

·       Resolve conflict situations involving staff, clients, or case-related issues in a professional manner

·       Monitor and evaluate staff performance and workflow, including immigration case handling processes

·       Train staff on office procedures, administrative duties, and immigration file management practices

Education Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Experience working in an immigration office is considered an asset.

Work Setting: Immigration Office

Terms of employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 35 hours / week)

Supervision: 3-4 people

Compensation: CAD $36.50 per hour
