Position

The position requires an experienced and team leader who will be responsible for managing the operations of a restaurant on day to day basis, within the policies and guidelines of the company ensuring customer satisfactions, team member satisfaction and profit maximization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist manager in planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating daily operations of restaurant
  • Ensure restaurant team maintains the highest possible level of customer service
  • Involve team members in developing and communicating an action plan to achieve productivity targets (inventory control, labour costs, etc)
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure adherence to local health and safety codes and company safety/ security policies and procedures
  • Scheduling sections/duties to the staff on duty
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of High school education
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in related field
  • Leadership skills- able to direct and supervise staff
  • Communication skills- able to exceed guest expectations

Salary

$26 per hour

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
  • Responsible for the accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Responsible of dealing with day-to-day paperwork (i.e. bills of lading, etc.)
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products.
  • Weigh materials and goods.
  • Store cargo and materials.
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of construction materials.
  • Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
  • Move household appliances and furniture onto and off moving trucks or vans.
  • Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
  • Operate winches and other loading devices to load and unload materials onto and off trucks, railway cars and loading docks of warehouses and industrial establishments.
  • Operate equipment to dump construction materials into or to remove materials from railway cars, trucks or other vehicles.
  • All other duties as assigned.
