Major job responsibilities

· Divide fresh-harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots

· Greenhouse cleaning

· Hand harvesting vegetables

· Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops

· Weeding

· Sort fruits and vegetables

· Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market.

· Clean work area

Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 40 hours of working in a week and or after 8 hours in a given day).
Vacation pay as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay)

Major Duties

· Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to the serving areas and set tables

· Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units

· Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware

· Place dishes in the storage area

· Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas

· Package take-out food

· Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items

· Stock refrigerators and food bars

· Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs

· Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment

· Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas

· Remove kitchen garbage and trash

· Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables
