Main duties:

  • Supervising and coordinating daily activities within the store to ensure smooth operations.
  • Hiring, training, and managing the staff, including setting work schedules and assigning tasks.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues.
  • Monitoring and managing meat inventory, ordering supplies, and conducting regular stock checks.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of meat processing equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
  • Ensuring the freshness, quality, and proper handling of meat products, and adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Managing cash transactions accurately and maintaining cash registers
  • Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills.
  • Conducting performance evaluations for staff and providing constructive feedback.
  • Addressing and resolving any operational or customer-related issues that may arise.
  • Creating attractive displays, arranging products effectively, and maintaining a visually appealing meat department.

 

Qualifications & skills:

  • Minimum Secondary Diploma is required.
  • 1-2 years of related retail work experience is required.

Alma Bridal is looking for a bookkeeper who is willing to be a team member and conduct all duties related to this position.

Duties:

• Reconcile accounts,

• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports,

• Prepare tax returns, and perform other personal bookkeeping services,

• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using,

• Manual and computerized bookkeeping systems,

• Record all expenses and sales and ensure they match with bank statements,

• Calculate and Prepare payroll slips/pay stubs according to the type of pay period,

• Prepare financial statements and report them to an accountant,

• Filing of government remittances.

Education and Skills Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required,

• 3-5 years of related work experience.
