Bill’s Peking House is looking for food service supervisor to join our team!
– Employment type: Full time permanent
– Start date: As soon as possible!
– Wage: CAD $18.50 hourly, 35 ~ 40 hours per week
 
Requirement:
– Languages: English
– Asset languages: Mandarin
– Years of Experience Required: 1 to less than 7 months
– Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Work Setting: On-site customer service, Restaurant

Job duties:
– Establish methods to meet work schedules
– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
– Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
– Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
– Hire food service staff
– Ensure food service and quality control
– Address customers' complaints or concerns
– Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
– Prepare and submit reports
– Supervise and check assembly of trays
– Establish work schedules

Tasks

  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Conduct research
  • Perform data entry
  • Provide customer service
  • Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
  • Maintain and manage digital database
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
