Main duties:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors,
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers,
- Develop and manage budgets related to procurement activities,
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess,
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and pricing fluctuations,
- Generate and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently,
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency,
- Take corrective actions or make recommendations for improvement, when necessary,
- Stay abreast of technological advancements in procurement and recommend relevant updates or implementations,
- Promote a customer-focused and service-oriented approach in providing services to external and internal customers,
- Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collecting processes,
Qualifications & skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management,
- 3-5 years of related work experience,
