Mechanic Helper

Main duties

·       Moving tools, equipment, and other materials

·       Holding stakes during surveying activities

·       Following signal safety procedures for other workers and the general public

·       Performing miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed

·       Cleaning machines and immediate work areas

Benefits

Job Responsibility:

Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas.

Support the splicing of overhead and underground communication and power transmission cables.

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment..

Help in servicing and installing refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems..

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevator systems..

Support the upkeep and repair of stationary electric power generation and distribution equipment.

Aid in mechanical, electrical, and body repairs of various vehicles, including aircraft, railway cars, automobiles, trucks, buses, heavy equipment, and motorcycles.

Assist in the repair and maintenance of electrical appliances, small engines, and similar equipment.
