OFFICE COORDINATOR

  • • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
    • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
    • Carry out administrative activities associated with admissions to post-secondary educational institutions
    • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
    • Coordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
    • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes
    • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
    • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
    • May supervise records management technicians and related staff.

    Wage: $31.00 per hour
    Working hours: 30 horus per week

Employment Requirement

-A College diploma or equivalent experience in related fields

-A minimum 1 year of work experience in baking

 

Skills and Qualifications

-Reliable and a team player

-Committed and flexible

-Ability to supervise and lead 3-4 people

-Ability to carry up to 25kg

-Cake decorating experience

-Verbal and written communication skills in English

 

Main Duties

-Prepare batters and bake cupcakes and cakes according to recipes or special customer orders

-Prepare icings for cupcakes and cakes and decorate and design according to specification

-Prepare and bake all tarts, brownies, cookies, scones, bread and other desserts in the shop

-Operate baking equipment such as ovens, blenders, mixers to achieve consistent product

-Manage the kitchen and order ingredients and baking supplies as needed

-Ensure the quality of products meets established standards

-Delegate tasks and supervise icers and kitchen staff
