- Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Recommend or arrange for additional maintenance services
- Assist cleaners in performing duties
- Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Establish work schedules

Detailed Responsibilities
- To provide leadership while working as part of the sanitation team to clean all food production within the CBPCC facilities.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of cleaning agents, processes, procedures and frequencies, which would include the cleaning of all processing equipment as well as the facility.
- Become familiar and able to work in a HACCP based environment.
- Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
- Designing and implementing sanitation policies and protocols.
- Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules.
- Creating and distributing work schedules for the sanitation workers.
- Performing daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and reporting any irregularities.
- Implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Providing feedback to company managers and advising on manufacturing changes.
- Monitoring the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Training sanitation workers and organizing refresher workshops for existing staff.
- Provide GMP and WHIMS to all workers.
