Main duties
- Repair minor mechanical problems such as broken or defective needles
- Set up looms or other processing machines
- Notify supervisors or repairers of mechanical malfunctions.
- Read loom patterns and prepare loom pattern mechanisms for processing.
- Verify equipment's efficiency. Investigate machine stoppages.
- Operate looms to weave yarn or thread into textile fabrics or products.
- Make adjustments to machinery.
- Operate large automatic multi-needle machines to embroider or to sew lengths of several layers of material.
- Patrol machines and check fabrics or products for defects and to verify efficient operation. Set up quilting frames for large, quilted products.
- Operate cutting machines to trim edges of quilts.

Salary
$17.50/hour

- Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 40 hours of working in a week)
