Vision Contracting Ltd is a respected and progressive builder of quality custom homes and renovations in the

Muskoka area. Vision prides itself on quality projects and workmanship and is seeking experienced painters who

apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of building and other structures.

Vision Contracting Ltd. – Expert Carpentry, Contracting & Cottage Services

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required.

o Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, and steam-cleaning; remove old

wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; and sandpaper and apply sealer.

o Mix and thin paint to obtain desired colour and texture

o Apply paint or other materials, such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, metal coating or fire retardant

using brushes, rollers or spray equipment

o Assemble and erect scaffolding and swing stages

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

o Completion of secondary school

o Minimum of three (3) years experience as a painter (interior and exterior)

o Excellent teamwork

o Availability for weekend work an asset
