Sales supervisor

    As a Sales Supervisor, you'll be tasked with overseeing and coordinating the sales staff and cashiers, ensuring smooth operations within the sales department. Your duties will involve assigning specific tasks to sales workers, preparing work schedules, and handling authorization for payments and merchandise returns. You'll be the point person for resolving various issues, including customer inquiries, complaints, and inventory shortages. Maintaining inventory levels and ordering merchandise as needed will be part of your responsibilities, along with generating reports on sales, merchandising, and personnel matters. Additionally, you'll play a role in the recruitment, training, and performance monitoring of new sales staff. It will also be your responsibility to uphold the store's visual standards and overall image through managing displays, signage, and cleanliness. Depending on the requirements, you may also undertake managerial duties such as store opening and closing, managing escalated complaints, devising marketing strategies, and overseeing deliveries.
