Job Brief: Circle K is looking for an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Supervisor with good leadership skills to join its team at the earliest, responsible for managing the retail staff within a business. Coordinates the shipping of goods, sets up displays, and assists customers and staff during business hours.  

Job Duties:  

  • Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers to ensure that they complete their assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
  • Sell merchandise to customers
  • Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
  • Work with the cash register when needed and change signage in the store to reflect any in-store promotions
  • Formulate pricing policies and ensure pricing is correct
  • Analyze operating and financial statements for profitability ratios
  • Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
  • Manage different departments within the store
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met

  Other Job Requirements:  

  • Language: Basic English is a requirement
  • Education: Completion of High School is required
  • Experience: 1 – 2 years of supervisory experience within the retail sector or previous experience as a retail salesperson or salesclerk, cashier will be considered

  Core skills:  

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have financial skills to create budgets, enter data into spreadsheets, use financial software and analyze expense reports
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be attentive and detail-oriented

Lead Cashier Job Description

Responsibilities:
– Oversee cashiers and ensure smooth operations at the checkout counter
– Train new cashiers on proper cash handling procedures and customer service skills
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
– Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing returns and exchanges
