Job Location: 654 College Street, Toronto, Ontario, M6G 1B8
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting business owner in daily store operations in compliance with established procedures.
- Supervising and providing guidance to sales staff and cashier.
- Optimizing sales through prompt and excellent customer service.
- Responding to customer concerns and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Communicating with business owner regarding sales, inventory, marketing, and recruitment.
- Training new sales staff and cashier.
- Maintaining and ordering supplies and merchandise.
- Assessing the needs of customers, educating them about products and services.
- Implementing best practices to increase sales and profitability.
- Monitoring work attendance, punctuality and the quality of services employees provided.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and overseeing store security.
- Ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and equipment and arranging for maintenance and repair work if necessary.
Key Competencies:
- Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar.
- A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Financial Management, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
- Excellent communication skills.
Work hours:
- 35 to 40 hours a week
Salary:
- $22.00 per hour
