Job Summary:

 

CPS is growing, even though COVID-19! We are currently expanding our operations into a larger facility. As the world develops rapidly, the digital construction of CPS Company and the development of business information systems have become increasingly urgent. In order to ensure the company’s flourishing development, we have decided to vigorously develop the company’s digital business information systems, making resources, processes, information and other aspects online in order to improve work efficiency and support the achievement of the company’s strategic goals. To implement our development plan, we are adding a new position of Business System Manager, who will lead the planning and construction of CPS’s entire business system.

 

As the Business System Manager, you will be responsible for the design of the entire system’s infrastructure, developing both long-term and short-term development plans, including various business modules and breaking down the development and launch plan. The business system will cover CPS’s supply chain operations, sales management, budget and finance management, and the company’s operating health status monitoring module, among others. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure that our business automation platform or new IT system are meeting the needs of all departments and driving revenue growth. You will report directly to the CEO.

 

The candidate should possess a comprehensive design mindset for the business information platform or system, from requirement gathering to deployment, and be familiar with various business modules. He or she should be able to understand the requirements well and drive development and deployment according to the timeline.

 

What you’ll do

 

  1. 1st Priority – 70%
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s long-term and short-term development strategies, design the complementary online business systems. Be responsible for planning, designing, organizing, implementing and executing CPS’s Online Business System in order to achieve the goal of Industry 4.0 – Smart Factory – Digitalization

 

  • Design a company health management system, defining key indicators covering finance, operations, sales, and supply chain aspects, to ensure comprehensive evaluation, including but not limited to revenue, gross profit margin, net profit, delivery efficiency, resource utilization efficiency, etc.

 

  • Use various visualization tools such as charts, dashboards, maps, etc. to develop online reports, track historical data, predict future trends, and alert anomalies.

 

  • Regularly output operational indicator reports to the CEO and other managers, helping them understand the company’s development status and suggesting viable solutions.

 

  • Design and optimize the online systems for various business modules of the company, including information, processes, approvals, and so on, such as an end-to-end supply chain management system that covers the entire process from demand collection to resource delivery, a financial management system that covers budget collection, formulation, review, execution, and settlement, and a product production, sales, and delivery management system, etc.

 

  • Lead the IT team, develop job positions, recruiting relevant personnel, control the team budget within a reasonable range. Guide project members, establish detailed workflows, schedules, milestones, and deadlines to ensure the projects progress as planned, and ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders to convey projects progress and risks.

 

  1. 2nd Priority – 20%
  • Assist in formulating cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancing strategies for the company, break down cost-cutting paths and plan solutions while enabling online capabilities, follow up on the implementation of plans, and help the company improve its product competitiveness.
  • Efficient and systematic lean operational system construction, which can bring significant efficiency improvements in products and solutions, supports rapid, healthy, and sustainable business development.

 

  1. 3rd Priority – 10%

 

  • Design and conduct necessary IT training for internal teams.

 

  • Participation in Production, Quality, Sales, and Business Development meetings.

 

  • Monitor the performance of staff and conduct team members’ KPI or OKR on annual basis.

 

  • Collaborate with operation and sales teams to conduct strategic planning initiatives to ensure that the clients and CEO’s expectations are met or succeeded.

 

  • Conduct other duties assigned by CEO.

 

Required Qualifications and Accountabilities

Education and Training:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or Chemical Engineering
  • Project Management

 

Experience:

  • Capable of comprehending and proficient in writing MRD and PRD documents.
  • 10+ years of success in leading and managing progressive/complex projects in a complete PM capacity, demonstrating PMO methodologies for planning, risk management, communication and reporting.
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Life Cycle Mgmt,Product Life Cycle Management and/or Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Proven successful projects with full project life cycle ownership.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, methodology development and application evaluation.

 

Skillsets:

  • Proficiency in comprehending and writing MRD, PRD.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office, Power BI, ERP.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking with strong problem-identification and resolution skills.
  • “Hands-on” mentality, flexibility, detail orientated, well organized, team building, diligent, stress tolerance.
  • Good knowledge of Lean manufacturing.

 

Extra Asset

  • PMP or other project management certificate.
  • Having both system development experience and manufacturing industry experience is a significant competitive advantage.

General Manager

  • Build high-quality business strategies, efficient operations, and plans, ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. Communicate with managers in other areas to ensure all personnel understand and follow protocols, regulations, and policies.
  • Provide quarterly reports to the Board of Directors emphasizing growth results and updates on operational planning and strategic initiatives. Communicate with the CEO to share plans for the company’s future direction. This includes discussing the competition, investment trends, personnel, public opinions, etc.

  • Manage departments by assigning tasks to appropriate staff, hiring new personnel, creating new subdivisions, and overseeing target expectations.
  • Oversee corporate policies and procedures relating to funding, logistics, government, and financial regulations.
  • Ongoing evaluation of company business results to monitor success against established business plans while keeping abreast of competitive landscape changes, portfolio enhancement and land acquisition opportunities.
  • Actively engaged with the senior management team in the planning and executing of portfolio and risk management, new product development, and broker distribution strategies to enhance the status of Tnext Communication Inc. significantly.
  • Organize and engage large-scale complex teams, leading them and helping to develop a high-performing managerial team
  • Give the proper strategic direction and create a vision for success, helping drive the company’s toward long-term success.
  • Proactively create metrics to track the financial and operational performance of the business.
  • Creatively develop recommendations with the goal of cost reduction and profit enhancement.
