Available position: Full-time Occupational Health and safety Officer

Expected start date: As soon as possible.

Salary: $50.00/ hour

Work hour: 35 hours/ week

Responsibilities:

-Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) sessions, including What-If and Checklist, Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure workplace safety.

-Develop and manage health and safety programs, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and process safety management systems tailored to industry requirements and client needs.

-Perform regular safety audits and inspections, providing recommendations for improvements to enhance overall safety performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

-Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; analyze root causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

-Deliver specialized training on safety procedures, emergency response, and process safety management; offer expert consultation on best practices for maintaining a safe workplace.

-Facilitate Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments, oversee the implementation and maintenance of Management of Change (MoC) processes, and develop and update process safety information, including process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). 

 

Experience: Minimum 1year work experience

Education: Completion of college diploma or equivalent

Able to communicate in English

We are looking for Flexographic press operator as a full-time permanent position.

 

*Job Duties:

 

  • Technically understands and manipulates various control panels and instruments to ensure the machinery is performing accurately of Flexo machine
  • Accurately sets up machine by loading, aligning and viewing film for defects and ensures the machine is set within the proper setting tolerance requirements for an efficient run.
  • Ensures that the machinery speeds and tensions are properly adjusted to run at the most efficient level to ensure low levels of waste and scrap. 
  • Ensures quality checks are performed and required quality tests are completed including measurement checks and visual inspections. 
  • Assists personnel with equipment repair and troubleshooting as may be assigned. 
  • Prepares supplies for upcoming orders to expedite the changeover process. 
  • Keeps accurate records of Flexo machine maintenance . 
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, tools and production environment. 
  • Performs various facility maintenance and perimeter cleaning as assigned. 
  • Reports any changes or unusual results on product or equipment immediately to the respective Manager. 
  • Managing all processes pertaining to Color Management systems.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned. 

 

*Qualification and Experience requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Flexographic and printing press industry required.
  • Minimum 5 years prior experience in operating Flexo press required .
  • Minimum 5 years of printing experience utilizing industry recognized Color Management System required.
  • Completion of secondary education required.
  •  

*Wage : $39.00-$42.00/hr
