We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Wage rate: $45 per hour ; 30 to 40 hours per week

JOB REQUIREMENT
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience in the construction industry may substitute for post-secondary education requirements.
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in construction project management.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.

JOB DUTIES
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resources.

Team Management: Lead and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and site workers, to ensure project objectives are met.

Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures and ensure financial efficiency, including cost forecasting and budget adjustments.

Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Progress Monitoring: Track project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

Documentation: Prepare and present project reports, documentation, and updates to senior management and clients.

Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on construction sites.

Procurement: Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
