Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Implement new administrative procedures
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Resolve conflict situations

POSITION: Tire repairer

WORK LOCATION/ADDRESS: Unit-3, 1060 Leathead Road, BC V1X 2K1

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: PERMANENT FULL-TIME

WAGE RATE: $21.00 PER HOUR (FOR 40 HOURS PER WEEK)

EDUCATION: SECONDARY SCHOOL (HIGH SCHOOL)

EXPERIENCE: 1 to less than 7 months

LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

NO. OF VACANCIES: 2

START DATE: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform tire rotations, balancing, and other maintenance tasks
  • Inspect tires on vehicles before and after installation
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Repair punctures and replace faulty valves
  • Balancing tires and completing wheel alignment procedures
  • Change engine oil and lubricate running gears of automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment
  • Grease pulleys, buckets, and other components
  • Replace oil, air, and fuel filters
  • Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, and radiators
  • Assist mechanics and perform duties as directed

 

 

WORK SETTING: THE CANDIDATE SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL-TIME IN THE MORNING OR DAY AND ON THE WEEKENDS.
