Main Duties:

  • Follow schedules to install Hardie Board, siding, paper, strapping, flashing, Blueskin, window and door trim, posts, beams, fascia, soffit, siding, and exterior insulation
  • Estimate time, material, equipment, and supplies needed for projects (Foreman role)
  • Operation of hand/power tools, and other equipment relevant to exterior siding
  • Proper care and attention of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in climatic conditions, good manual dexterity, physical strength and stamina
  • Siding installations- Fiber Cement, wood, metal and vinyl
  • Custom Soffits
  • Wood Trims
  • Rain screen & Weatherproofing
  • General labour
  • Working with man-lift and scaffolding
  • Precision measuring and cutting

Qualifications & skills:

  • Some secondary school education is usually required.
  • On-the-job training and several months of related installing, repairing or servicing experience are usually required.
  • A driver’s licence may be required.

Main duties:
 Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools,
 Loading and unloading construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use
of equipment,
 Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites,
 Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding,
 Maintaining a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly,
picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job
site daily,
 Assisting contractors, e.g. electricians and painters, as required,
 Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment,
 Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs,
 Following all health and safety regulations,
 Digging holes, tunnels, and shafts,
 Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete,

Qualifications & skills:
 Completion of secondary school is required,
 One year of related work experience,
