Support for Youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth, Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth, Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Wage: $17.45 per hour

40 hours per week

Magnum Millwork Inc. is now hiring draftsmen/women

 

We specialize in custom architectural design for commercial (restaurants, hospitals) and residential (kitchens, stairs, doors, baths) properties. 

 

Location of work: 5344 John Lucas Drive, Burlington, ON L7L 6A6

And some onsite visits to job sites

 

Salary: $36.00 per hour 

 

Hours of work: full-time, permanent position for at least 35 hours per week

 

Requirements:

– post-secondary training/education or equivalent experience

– at least 3 years of experience with ability to work independently 

– experience with MOSAIK Software for CNC cabinet industry, 3D modelling with graphic software, AutoCAD

– valid driver’s license

 

Responsibilities

– Develop and prepare detailed designs, sketches and drawings using Mosaik software  and 3-D models for showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other furniture/cabinetry fixtures

– Read blueprints to determine work requirements

– Write specifications

– Complete documentation packages and drawing sets

– Examine drawings for conformity and errors
