We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Manager to join our team and help us continue to exceed our customers' expectations.

Position Overview:

As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a dynamic team. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a welcoming environment, maintaining high standards of quality, and driving the bar’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff. Schedule shifts and manage employee performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and problem resolution.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all bar operations comply with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate on creating and updating the drink menu, including developing new cocktails and specials.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial performance.
  • Marketing: Implement promotional strategies and events to attract and retain customers.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise, including customer complaints and operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of bar operations, including mixology, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using bar management software and POS systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

We are looking for a full-time Early Childhood Educator to our daycare.

Job Description:
Position: Early Childhood Educator
Vacancy: 1
Working Hours: 40 Hours per week
Wage: 24.00 per hour
Benefits: dental and health benefits after 6-month probation
6 CAD per hour wage enhancement provided by the British Columbia Child Development Department.
Job Offer Type: Full-time, Permanent

Main duties:
– Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
– Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
– Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
– Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
– Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
– Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
– Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children

Job Requirement:
License: British Columbia Early Childhood Educator License Required
Education: College, CEGEP
Experience: Experience an asset
Personal Suitability: Reliability, Team player
