Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware

Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, Survey building locations and levels, Instruct apprentices

Supervise other workers, Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work Setting: Warehouse

Job Duties:

  • Identify customers’ needs
  • Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate
  • Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Promote sales to existing clients
  • Recommend products or services to customers
  • Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Prepare and administer sales contracts
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client’s needs
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
  • Plan and manage the facility’s operations budget
  • Organize and maintain inventory
