Education

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

  • Able to work: Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Overtime, Shift, Weekend
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
  • Ensure food service and quality control
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
  • Supervision of 5-6 people (food service counter attendants and food preparers)
  • Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Bondable
  • Valid driver’s licence/Own transportation
