Wage: $17 per hour based on 35 hours per week

Benefits: 10 paid vacation days per year

 

Skills & Requirements

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

Minimum 1 year of Japanese cooking (Katsu and Soba dishes)

Specific Skills

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Clean kitchen and work areas

Other: Excellent Tonkatsu and Soba making skills, Garnishing skills and Ability to create new menu are great assets.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook various Japanese food including various katsu and Soba dishes
  • Create new recipes and develop new menu along with other team members
  • Determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Maintain inventory and records of foods, supplies and equipment

Cleaner

We are looking for a professional cleaner , to take care of  our  clients building , residential and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties

The goal is to keep our building and all residential in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
