Salary: $23.00/hour for 35-40 hours/week

Landvision Group is a Real estate developer in Surrey, British Columbia that provides construction management, design-build, and general contracting services. We are eagerly looking for construction helpers to help continue our growth. As a construction helper, the candidate must perform the following job duties.

 

Job Duties:

·         Set up workstations and equipment to be used at a job site

·         Safely load and unload and move construction materials such as lumber, tools and other equipment at a worksite

·         Mix, pour and spread materials

·         Assemble and break down barricades, temporary structures and scaffolding

·         Assist tradesmen with framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs

·         Level earth to fine-grade specifications to prepare for construction

·         Direct traffic at or near construction sites

·         Remove all rubble and other debris, pack up tools, put away any unused materials from active worksites

·         Maintain safe and secure environment at construction sites while following safety regulations

 

Requirements:

• Education: None

• Experience: No Experience required but any experience in the construction industry will be considered an asset, on the job training will be provided

• Language: Basic English is a requirement

 

Other Skills:

Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift up to 50lbs

Willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
  • Delegate work to office support staff
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Perform data entry
  • Train staff
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
