Job description

Aireno Home is looking to hire a highly skilled carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques in construction & renovation on residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for layout, construct erect, install and renovate structure made of wood , wood substitutes and other materials, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to blueprints and drawings and as well as client’s requirements.

A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, teamwork and cooperation, perform work independently, excellent at problem solving and decision making in a fast paced environment, have good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, perform work independently.

· Ability with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.

· Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.

· Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.

· Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.

· Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.

· Provide excellent customer service.

· Ability work at heights for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Requirements:

· High school diploma above.

· Minimum 5 years + experience.

· Positive attitude, hard working, good understanding of safety policies and safe work practices..

· Good communication and interpersonal skills, multi-tasker, teamwork and cooperation.

· Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.

· Attention to details and high level of accuracy, problem solving skills.

· Fluent English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Wine Cellar Master

Job duties and qualification include:

  • A certificate or degree in winemaking from an accredited academic institution
  • 2 years to less than 3 years working experience in other winery environments (full time cellar work with experience operating pumps, presses, filters)
  • Strong mechanical skills in relation to winery equipment maintenance and upkeep
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds, work on and around ladders, catwalks, uneven flooring, in hot, cold, and wet environments with typical winery chemical exposure and conditions
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
  • Ability to solve technical/processing problems as they arise
  • Experience with both the practical and technical aspects of the winemaking process
  • Experience with both the practical and technical aspects of the winemaking process
  • Experience with South America grapes and juices is required
  • Some experience in micro vinification and vinegar bleeding
  • Ability to supervise when needed

Position starts at $27.85 working 35 hours/week
