JOB DUTIES:

·         PREPARE REPORTS REGARDING MERCHANDISE, SALES VOLUME AND PERSONNEL MATTERS

·         SUPERVISE AND CO-ORDINATE SALES STAFF AND CASHIERS AND ASSIGN DUTIES

·         PREPARE WORK SCHEDULE

·         ORDER MERCHANDISE AND MAINTAIN INVENTORY RECORD

·         HIRE AND TRAIN NEW STAFF AND MONITOR AND REPORT ON PERFORMANCE

·         AUTHORIZE PAYMENTS AND THE RETURN OF MERCHANDISE AND RESOLVE ISSUES REGARDING CUSTOMERS REQUESTS, COMPLAINTS AND SUPPLY SHORTAGES

·         ENSURE THE VISUAL STANDARDS AND IMAGE OF THE STORE MAINTAINED SUCH AS STORE DISPLAYS, SIGNAGE AND CLEANLINESS

·         MAY PERFORM THE SAME DUTIES AS WORKERS SUPERVISED AND MAY ALSO PERFORM MANAGERIAL DUTIES IF REQUIRED, SUCH AS OPENING AND CLOSING OF STORE, MANAGING COMPLAINTS, DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING MARKETING STRATEGIES AND SIGNING FOR DELIVERIES.

WORK SETTING: THE CANDIDATE SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL TIME IN THE EARLY MORNING, MORNING, DAY, OR EVENING OR ON THE WEEKEND.

Computer Network Technician (NOC 22220)

Mardel 3PL Inc. is a third‑party logistics company providing warehousing, order fulfillment, inventory management and shipping services to retailers and businesses.  We are looking to add Computer Network Technician to our existing team:

As a Computer Network Technician (NOC 22220), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Install software
  • Install web server hardware and software
  • Load printer with paper and forms
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Implement data, software and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
  • Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines
  • Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations

 

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
