  • Job Responsibility: 
  • Supervise and manage office administrative processes, reviewing, assessing, and implementing new methods.
  • Set work priorities, assign tasks to office support staff, and ensure adherence to deadlines and procedures.
  • Handle administrative tasks linked to admissions in post-secondary institutions.
  • Oversee the application of policies and processes related to releasing records under government access to information and privacy laws.
  • Coordinate and plan office services, including accommodations, relocations, equipment, supplies, asset disposal, parking, maintenance, and security.
  • Perform analyses and manage administrative tasks related to budgeting, contracting, and project planning.
  • Assist in preparing the operating budget, maintaining inventory, and ensuring budgetary controls.
  • Collect data and compile regular and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • May supervise records management technicians and related staff.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
