Job Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of sales staff and cashiers.
- Assign duties to sales workers and create work schedules.
- Approve payments and process merchandise returns.
- Address and resolve issues, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for merchandise as needed.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Recruit, hire, and train new sales staff or arrange training programs, and monitor employee performance.
- Maintain the store’s visual standards, including displays, signage, and cleanliness.
- Perform tasks similar to those of the staff being supervised when necessary.
- Handle keyholder and managerial responsibilities, such as opening and closing the store, resolving escalated complaints, developing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.
