Job Description:

Active Heat is looking for Heating, Ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) Mechanics

 responsible for HVAC systems installation, repair, and maintenance. They will be performing the below job duties, but not limited to.

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Provide customer service
  • Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of Secondary school
  • Language: Must be able to communicate in English
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is usually needed

 

Other requirements:

  • Installation of furnaces, heat pumps, duct work
  • Desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Excellent knowledge of and ability to use hand and electronic tools
  • Good customer service skills

JOB DUTIES

 

  • Perform data entry

  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines

  • Compile data, statistics and other information

  • Respond to employee questions and complaints

  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents

  • Provide customer service

  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

  • Conduct performance reviews.
