Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Main Duties:
- Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans for various multiple companies.
- Maintain, run and make payroll, write payroll cheques manually or using accounting software systems along with storing, updating and retrieving financial data using both computerized softwares and manual records
- Prepare T4 statements, Prepare CRA monthly remittance statements of the companies
- Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements
- Complete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance
- Inform employers and employees about payroll matters and benefit plans
- Compile statistics and reports while calculating regular pay, overtime pay and stat pay of the employees and benefit entitlements according to the prevailing laws.
- Check, relay and answer queries of clients via Telephone or Emails along with co-ordinating the flow of information internally with accountants, bookkeepers and from the reception

Education: Completion of College diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Previous experience of at least 1 year in related field

Wages: $ 27.50/hr
