Roles & Responsibilities
- Staffing Needs Assessment: Identifying current and prospective staffing requirements and developing effective recruitment strategies.
- Advertising and Screening: Preparing and posting job notices and advertisements, as well as collecting and screening applications to identify the best-fit candidates.
- Applicant Guidance: Advising job applicants on employment requirements, terms and conditions of employment, and any specific expectations related to IT roles within the company.
- Candidate Evaluation: Reviewing candidate inventories, contacting potential applicants, and coordinating interviews for evaluation and selection.
- Campus Recruitment: Developing and managing relationships with educational institutions to recruit graduates from colleges, universities, and other educational sources.
- Selection Boards: Coordinating and participating in selection and examination boards to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for specific IT positions.
- Job Offer Preparation: Notifying applicants of the results of the selection process and preparing job offers for successful candidates.
- Policy and Procedure Advice: Advising managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Employee Support: Organizing and administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, providing guidance, and ensuring fair resolutions.
- Employee Services: Determining eligibility for entitlements, arranging staff training, and offering information or services, including employee assistance, counseling, and recognition programs.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS): Managing and following up on the opening of OHS files related to recruitment activities, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: May involve supervising personnel clerks responsible for filing and record-keeping duties related to recruitment and HR processes.
Qualifications
- University or College graduate in Business Administration or Human Resources Management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of IT job roles, technical skills, and industry trends.
- Proven experience as an IT Recruitment Specialist or similar role within the IT industry.
- At least 1-2 years of exclusive hands-on involvement in volume recruiting especially for roles such as conversational AI and machine learning developers, DevOps engineers and architects, Java and PHP developers, Microsoft Dynamics professionals, UI/UX Designers, scrum masters and project managers, QA analysts, BSAs and product managers, Android and iOS developers, etc.
- Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
